OVERALL PURPOSE
The CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for driving work trucks to and from the worksite and work as a team
member on a daily basis to safely and properly install guardrail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
In addition to other duties as assigned by the employer, the responsibilities, and qualifications of the Job Title to
include the following:

  • Take direction from Foreman and communicate with other crew members on a daily and consistent basis
    so there is a clear line of communication on the work that is to be performed.
  • Assist the Foreman in getting the job site set up to proceed with the installation of guardrail.
  • Work as a flagger for an extended period of time.
  • Install guardrail at job site, requires carrying material off truck, placing at work area which is on the
    shoulder of the road and unpaved surfaces.
  • Remove existing guardrails and loading on truck for transport back to the shop.
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections on trucks and maintain a safe properly strapped load.
  • Adhere to all FMCSA safety regulations and DOT regulations.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and follow directions
  • Always maintain a Valid CDL Driver’s license
  • 2 Years prior CDL driving experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior construction experience is a plus

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to bend and squat frequently throughout the workday
  • Must be able to physically lift to 75 lbs. and carry material over all types of terrain
  • Meet DOT Physical requirements
